Rite of Passage

For a few years Emma has been asking to get her ears pierced. We have always felt like she needed to be responsible enough to keep them cleaned in order to have them done.
She has finally convinced us that she is responsible enough... so here we found ourselves this afternoon....

She didn't even flinch or cry! As you can see above she was very stoic. But I almost did! I think I was more nervous than she was. Plus it was a moment where I realized she is growing up.
