Life with our little family of 3...

Since Robert was working in the San Francisco area for work, Emma & I took a trip to see him. There was so much to see & do in San Francisco but here are some of our highlights... This sign was at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company which is where we ate for dinner. Yummy Fish & Chips! It was Mahi Mahi! It wouldn't be complete without a fire truck picture!

We took a tour of the Balclutha... Emma got to be the Ranger's assistant.

We took a tour of the steam tug Hercules...

After we toured all the ships and Emma filled out her book... she was sworn in as an official Jr. Ranger...

We went to see the Golden Gate Bridge. It was pretty windy but still spectacular!

Since Robert is leaving for several months.. he decided to take Emma camping. They had a great time. Emma had a great time camping with dad, eating by the campfire and meeting new friends. Robert had fun spending time with Emma when she was available... and watching our social butterfly make new friends...

We spent the 4th with good friends... good food... good times... and good traditions...

Nothing like celebrating our freedom & independence with some good fireworks!

Recently we were able to go with some friends to pick out their new puppy. Well I should have prepped Emma some more to let her know that we were NOT getting a puppy! She tried begging, promising, crying, compromising and anything else a 7 yr old could think of! I almost gave in until I remembered the potty training part! How could I resist this?? Or this?? But in the end I stood strong and resisted despite this look... And it's a good thing after listening to how many times Tanya has had to get up at 3am!
