Life with our little family of 3...

11:30 pm - girls finally asleep... They will totally sleep in after all the fun and late night... NOT - the all were up before 7:00 am! Hence the look... But then there were more presents... Then the look came again the next morning... (Daddy is attempting to sew together her Build-A-Bear) Birthdays can be fun but exhausting...

Emma had her 7th birthday party/sleepover bash this last weekend. Here the girls are eating some pizza. All was going great until... There was a lull while someone went to the restroom... so Robert had the girls doing push ups! Isn't that what you're supposed to do at a party?? But then all was well again once the presents got opened and... the nails got painted and... they were all settled in with popcorn, oranges and a movie! Emma had a great time at her birthday party with her friends!

It's hard to believe that seven years ago, this little girl was born into our world. It's even harder to believe that she is already 7! Happy 7th Birthday Emma! Opening her presents on her birthday morning... I had one of these as a little girl and now Emma does too! An abundance of potholders coming to a house near you soon! Birthday cake after a birthday dinner! Emma thought Daddy was being weird, hence the look on her face!

Every year for Halloween, we have gone to a local church for their Halloween/Fall Festival. It's always been a lot of fun! Unfortunately this year they didn't have it. So we were at a loss of what to do. We had some friends invite us to their house for dinner and trick or treating. This was Emma's first year trick-or-treating. For a week she practiced saying "Trick-or-Treat". Glinda the Good Witch Counting all the loot! She had over 100 pieces of candy!

The flu hit our house this year. We think that most likely it was the H1N1 due to some of the symptoms and severity of it. It was not fun that is for sure. It hit Robert & Emma pretty bad. Fortunately I didn't get much of it, just one day of feeling icky. Thanks to a friend, I fought back and won. Otherwise who was going to play nursemaid?? Poor little Emma, she was so tired. We had a hard time getting her fever down since she absolutely refuses any sort of medication! So we rode it out with lots of naps and liquids. Even Mac was tired! Poor guy was confused why we were all home for over a week just sitting around! So he joined Emma in a nap...

This is Emma's little buddy Hulk. They love to snuggle together when he comes over! Apparently I was disturbing them while taking their picture! How rude!

We were driving back from Oregon when we came up behind this... Is this a house? Yep and it's a shoe! It's the woman who lived in the shoe! How cool is this??
